EAST ANGLIAN PREMIER CRICKET LEAGUE

Serving Cricket in East Anglia Since 1999

ABOUT US

The East Anglian Premier League is the top level of competition for recreational club cricket in East Anglia covering Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and North Essex. The League was formed in 1999 to provide a pathway for young players into the First Class game and over the past 15 years, more than a dozen players have made the step up, including former England captain Alistair Cook. There are now over 20 Premier Leagues nationally and the EAPL is considered to be one of the five “Elite Premier Leagues”.

The league is sponsored by Read Brothers Ltd, who have been serving the construction industry in East Anglia since 1981. Very much a family orientated business, Read Brothers Ltd is a timber merchant based on the Sweet Briar Industrial Estate in Norwich. They pride themselves in the expertise of all their staff and offer a service which is second to none.
