ECB RELEASE GUIDELINES FOR RECREATIONAL CRICKET RETURN



Following the recent government announcement regarding team sports, the ECB has shared their guidelines for the return of recreational cricket.


The guidelines cover a number of areas, including:

  • Pre-match adaptations regarding transport and symptom checking.

  • In-game adaptations applying to social distancing measures, hygiene, match officials and the use of equipment.

  • Post-game adaptations, including the potential use of club facilities.

  • Advice for coaches specific to individual sessions and junior cricket.

This latest announcement from the ECB signals the progression from Step 3 of the roadmap to Step 4, the phase known as "Adapted gameplay". To view the roadmap click, HERE.
